The26thInternationalHolyQuranExhibitionopenedatTehran’sImamKhomeiniMosallaonSaturdayduringaspecialceremonyattendedbyMinisterofCultureandIslamicGuidanceAbbasSalehiandanumberofculturalfigures.

CopiesoftheHolyQuranpublishedbyvariousIranianandinternationalpublishershavebeenputonviewattheexhibit,whichisorganizedeveryyearduringtheholymonthofRamadanthatisknownasthespringoftheHolyQuran.

Theannually-heldexhibithasalsodedicatedsectionstodisplaytoptranslationsandinterpretationsoftheHolyQuran.

AccordingtotheDeputyCultureMinisterAbdolhadiFeqhizadeh,anumberofQuranactivistsandthosefiguresactiveinpromotingtheQuranwillbehonoredduringtheexhibitthatwillberunninguntilJune4.

Anumberofmeetings,seminarsandartexhibitionsontheHolyQuranarescheduledtobeorganizedonthesidelinesoftheevent.

Inaddition,anumberofacademicsandculturalscholarsfromseveralMuslimcountriesareexpectedtoattendtheexhibit.

DozensofpublishersfromothercountriesarescheduledtoshowcasetheirlatestofferingsontheHolyQuran.Inaddition,groupsofinternationalartistshavebeeninvitedtoholdworkshopsandexhibitionsduringtheevent.
