年秋天，我们开始设计巴兰度假村（BarinResort）的内部空间，与此同时我们也在进行项目的外部设计。巴兰位于山体的核心部位，距谢幕沙克（Shemshak）滑雪场仅1公里之遥，次于蒂津（Dizin）是伊朗第二大滑雪场，距德黑兰也只需55分钟车程。在巴兰，壮丽的自然景观给人以非常深刻的印象，因此我们决定将设计作为示范项目，来探究自然和建筑的交织性。

项目旨在传达一些新的理念，修饰建筑和自然的关系，而非盲目重复当地传统模式或是引用其它历史风格。同时，任何建筑设计应该是逻辑化过程的产物，应是自由、灵活的形式，与周边各种力量形成对话。在该项目中，自然的力量表现为白雪覆盖的景观，彰显着地域特征，表现出山体拥抱建筑时流动的线条感。此外，我们受到了一种原始北极居民创造的雪块砌成圆顶小屋Igloos的启发。但在设计中，以地形的层次感取代了原本的冰砖结构，并在水平方向不断层叠线条，塑造出建筑的圆顶形式。基于此，该项目是一次结合隐喻的设计（CombinedMetaphoricDesign），采用了自然和人造物双方面的设计灵感，从而实现最终的表现形式。

建筑中所有的项目所需都被限定在主结构中，创造出空间的纯粹性和统一性，如同当漫天雪花落入地面时，浸润了所有不同颜色和形状的物体，成为纯白一般。
